Hopescure is a Franco-Luxembourgish group founded in December 2016 by the 4 current members.
The progressive metal group combines its inspiration in film music with the genre of progressive rock.
He offers rich compositions including heavy riffs underlined by melodic lines in the line of Dream Theater or Myrath as well as very atmospheric pieces in the spirit of Porcupine Tree or Opeth.
The current training has been constant from the start with Alexandre KLEIN on drums, Kevin Roy on guitar, Patrice Diasio on bass and Andy Abrantes on vocals.
All passionate about the progressive family, they combine their varied influences for an ambitious project: to write the first album.
During the first year, the first compositions were born with the project of finding a keyboard player to enrich the songs.
Months later, recruitment was more difficult than expected. It then became essential to write the parts of this 5th member for the progress of the album.
This task was entrusted to Andy who put a lot of time and energy into it.
With the supervision of the rest of the group and thanks to Kevin’s technical knowledge, the result seemed very satisfactory to them and they decided to stay 4 within the group using a backing track. This choice will delay the writing process but allow the group to include orchestration and a unique atmosphere to the songs.
The year 2018 was dedicated to the composition and recording of the demos. The alchemy between the members of the group allowed a great productivity of composition. So much so, that a double album was put forward; an idea that was put aside for the sake of time and logistics a few months later.
After 2 years of training, Hopescure begins to exist publicly with the launch of their facebook page followed by a teaser announcing the upcoming release of the album Nostalgia Part 1.
Beginning of 2019: a first concert allows them to have feedback from the public to decide on the choice of songs to put on the 1st album.
From April 2019 to October 2019: production of their first album Nostalgia Part 1.
Between studio recordings and mixing supervision in the United States, they perform several concerts with Worst DNA, Arduinnna’s Dawn and many others which allowed them to develop their stage play.
In November 2019, while mastering the album is underway, the group is shooting their first video clip.
December 2019: With the album finished, Hopescure has reserved its release date for February 21, 2020.
Advancing on solid foundations, the 4 musicians are passionate, ambitious and motivated. Hopescure likes to share its music and meet its audience for its professional and personal enrichment.
