Psychedelic, progressive, hard-hitting and melodic are all concepts that can be put into this crucible of a rock band.
Shaman Elephant from Bergen takes up the legacy of Motorpsycho, Bushman’s Revenge, Elephant9 and Mahavishnu Orchestra, mixes it with a dose of Jimi Hendrix and Steely Dan, and creates with it its very distinctive expression in terms of rock. Following the debut album Crystals from 2016, the band has made a mark both at home and abroad with very good reviews and sold out vinyl editions.
Active concert activities in both Norway and Europe have given the Bergen Quartet a reputation for being “one of the rawest things heard in Norwegian rock”.
In the spring of 2020, Shaman Elephant will release his long-awaited second album, “Wide Awake But Still Asleep” and will continue his mission of getting the experimental rock out to the people.
